Just a heads up on a free tune coming from Raffertie, coinciding with  his recent signing to Ninja Tune. You do have to sign up to the Ninja Tune mailing list but trust me, it's worth it. Meditate on Tom Waits

I've been really busy this past week, had some awesome weather so spending as much time as possible outside.

(Thats my excuse for the fact there are two Tom Waits tracks in a row.  .. now for this weeks)

One from his earlier years I think, his voice doesn't have that trademark roughness yet.

I had to upload this myself, as the verison I have has a fairly humourous introduction by Tom. The actual song is great though, I love his voice on this one. Lyrics are in the youtube description if you would like to read them.

The original song is good too, I never realised there was a Kahn remix until a few weeks ago.

I havn't even heard the original of this, but it probably aint better than the Ruckspin remix.

So I watched 'Wristcutters - A Love Story' recently, it's got this great song by Tom Waits in the opening scene:

It's a good film too, definitely worth a watch. Post up your favourite Tom Waits songs in the comments, he's such a prolific artist, I know I probably havn't heard some of his best.
